Jackie the know it all

Well Jackie thought she knew it all. She sat there crying in a bathroom stall. Well The look in his eyes said it all. Well is it too soon to look on the bright side, I think so.

And Ted, the one who smokes Marlboro reds. Said he wouldn’t be seen dead with her around him, but he’s oh so contradicting. Because he asks her to meet him there.

And he was stood there waiting. And she told him she doesn’t have time for this. No time for social engagements. And he’s laughing, cos he knows she’s taking the piss.

He said “how’d your date go?” She said “rubbish, but you knew that from the start.” Yeah well he could’ve told you. One step further from breaking your heart.

Soap opera romance. Try to keep up the act though. That’s not easy. It never happens to be handed to you. It was handed to him. And now it doesn’t look pretty, no. He had to pay the price. Of having someone else to pay it all for him.

The consequences of loving you. Are to make you feel like something. Oh well you’re too bogged down in your nothingness. Well, is it easy just to let go?

And you hear him saying. Saying well I wanna be just like you. Cos Ted’s pretty noble. I guess he does what ten a day gentlemen do.
