It's Monday night and it's tipping down. So where better to spend an evening than at the Golden Ball, checking out some of York's open-mic talent...run by tennis aficionado and all round good guy Tom Beer.

Another busy night at the Golden Ball...with a whole bunch of folk from the York music scene to provide the entertainment. Ned and Bryn represented The Corsairs (with Matthew on his hols) and played acoustic versions of Blues and the brown, He's a horror and She trips and then she falls.

Also notable was Jake McCulloch's (friend of The Corsairs) debut performance, bringing his tunes to the Golden Ball for the first time.
