This week Ned dips his toe into the local Open Mic scene...the water is lovely...and so are the people.
York has a pretty vibrant Open Mic scene. On Wednesday nights there is no better place to be than The Habit cafe/bar on Goodramgate.
It's run by York musician Simon Snaize, who provides everything you need to get going. Sign up kicks off around 8.15pm, on a first come first served basis.
It can get pretty busy, so you want to get your name down early if you want to play. Usual format...three songs max, 15 minutes total.
