Another trip out into the night to check out more of York’s local scene and get The Corsairs stuff out there. This time, Angel on the Green ... a small pub/bar on Bishopthorp Road, with Open Mic hosted tonight by local folk musician Bella Gaffney, standing in for the regular host Dan Webster.
Another great reception from a lovely bunch of people, and chance to try out a new number - She trips and then she falls.
The entertainment generally kicks off about 8:30 with the usual format, play up to three songs...do a magic trick/dance/stand up comedy...and earn yourself a free drink.
