Total buzz to be supporting Edgar Summertyme Jones, stalwart of the Liverpool music scene and much, much, more...
Originally the bass player and singer-songwriter for cult band The Stairs (everyone should listen to Mexican R'n'B), he has since worked with the likes of Paul Weller, Ian McCulloch, Johnny Marr, Ocean Colour Scene, The La’s, Saint Etienne...the list goes on.
What a voice and what a total gent, loads of time for everyone, chatting to fans after the performance.
Also in support were York's The Big Sleep, what an awesome wall of sound produced by these lads...absolutely massive.

It was the first time back at the Fulford Arms since their move to a 16+ policy, so not quite a hectic as previous Corsairs shows, but it was still great to see so many familier faces and a whole bunch of new ones. Welcome to the Corsairs family x.
Bit more of a chilled set for this show with equal numbers electric and acoustic numbers. It was also the first airing of a new number, "Take It or Leave It"...which was shaping up nicely until disaster struck and Ned broke a string. Ha, these things happen...quick switch to the backup guitar and off again...nothing to see here!
Roll on the next one...
