The Corsairs are on another trip out of York...this time to the Steel City of Sheffield for a showcase gig at Record Junkee.
The Corsairs were joined by and 9 out of 10 Dentists for what was a hot night in Sheffield. We thought this was turning out to be a bit of a shambles, with broken bass gutair and missing drum kit, actually turned out to be a bealter of a gig.
Thanks to all involved that managed to pull it back from the brink...and a massive thank you to 9 Out Of 10 Dentists for leanding us their entire bass rig...absolute ledgends, couldn't have done it without you...you beautiful people!
For our first outing to Sheffield, it was great to see so many people come down to see us and 9 Out Of 10 Dentists who played a belter of a set. We also met a whole bunch of lovely people that just rocked up on the off chance of seeing some great music...hope we didn't disappoint ;)
Record Junkee is a great little venue...a big shout needs to go out to the sound guy...working hard against the odds to keep the show on the road...absolute top job.
